Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on September 4, 2023.

The azure field represents the Merdereau river, which forms the Northern municipal border. The water-mill wheel represents the water-mill in the Merdereau at Cormier.

The basket is the symbol of Saint Aubin, patron saint of the parish.

The heather branches symbolize the moor or “desert”, second part of the town’s name.
