History: Formed at Roborough in December 1943.

In front of s word gules and anchor azure in saltire a popinjay Or.
Motto: Volamus ut serviamus.
Origin/meaning
The Unit served in the Anti-Aircraft Co-operation Role. The Popinjay symbolises the Targets towed and the Swordd and Anchor the Army and the Royal Navy which it served. The Motto translates as ”We fly to serve”. The Badge was approved in September 1948.
