History: Formed at Shandur in January 1943.

Motto: Irae emissarii.

Origin/meaning

The Lion symbolises operations in North Africa and the Fighting Spirit of the Unit. The Lighning refers to the Striking Power. The Motto translates as ”Emissaries of wrath”. The Badge was approved in May 1945.
