English In front of a crescent argent an eagles claw Or, the leg azure, holding an Indian dagger argent hilted Or in bend, the point to the dexter.

Motto: Nocte custodimus

Origin/meaning

The Crescent symbolises night fighting. The Eagle's claw stands for the fighter role and the Dagger symbolises the location and Defence of India. The Motto translates as "We keep the night watch". The Badge was approved in January 1943.
