Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 18, 1991.

The arms show the castle of Navès (10^th century), that belonged to the monastery of Solsona. The dragon above is the attribute of St. Margaret, the local patron saint (traditions say that Margaret was eaten by a dragon, and she opened it's belly from inside using her cross and being "reborn").
