Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on November 6, 2020.

The arms are based on elements from the arms of three families from which it came from the lords and lords of the place before 1789: the De Ponches (1400 to 1497, merle), the De Boufflers (1497 to 1750, spur) and the Gallets (1763-1789, chevron and roses).

The phoenix reefers to the reconstruction and rebirth of the village, 80% destroyed by the bombardments of the Allied air force in the spring of 1944, which targeted the nearby German rocket launch bases.
