HMS LAGOS, ROYAL NAVY

Official blazon
English Blue; within a wreath a laurel gold a falcon belled gold.

Origin/meaning

The Falcon is from the Crest of Sir Edward Boscawen (1711-1761) who defeated the French at the Battle of Lagos in 1759. The badge was approved in 1945.
