Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat, cu bordură albastră încărcată cu șapte flori de Campanula (clopoțel) stilizate, de argint. În partea de sus, în câmp verde, se află un urs privind spre dreapta, de aur. În vârf, în câmp negru, se află trei brăzdare de plug dispuse în furcă, de argint. Scutul este timbrat cu o coroană murală de argint, cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 3, 2018.

The blue border with the seven Campanula flowers indicates the number of component villages of the commune, these being stylized as in the outer frieze of the church in Bâra (14th century), and represent the patrimony values ​​of the commune, alluding to the botanist in the area, known by the description flora of the Transylvanian area (1790).

Green and bear represent the forest and rich wildlife of the area.

The black symbolizes the fertile land cultivated by the locals, and the three plow irons represent the agriculture of the commune and the archeological discoveries from Mărculeni (the rich ancient deposit, with a blacksmith's workshop).

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.Literature:
