CANADIAN MANOEUVRE TRAINING CENTRE, CANADA
Official blazon
A torteau charged with a triangle point downwards composed of an interlaced pattern Or, ensigned by the Royal Crown proper and environed by a wreath of maple leaves, overall in base a scroll Or inscribed with the Motto in letters Sable.
Motto: DOCTRINAS BELLO APTARE.
Origin/meaning
The triangular figure and its interlaced pattern indicate the concept of complex manœuvres. The red alludes to the Canadian Army. This Latin phrase, the literal meaning of which is “To adapt the theories to the war”, refers to the unit’s mandate of “Teaching the arts of war.”
Original concept of the Canadian Manoeuvre Training Centre, assisted by the heralds of the Canadian Heraldic Authority. The badge was approved by The Canadian Heraldic Authority on July 15, 2019.
