Redesignated: 97 Maintenance Squadron on 16 Mar 1950; 97 Field Maintenance Squadron on 16 Jun 1952. Inactivated on 31 May 1992. Redesignated as 97 Equipment Maintenance Squadron on 21 Aug 1992. Activated on 1 Oct 1992. Redesignated as 97 Maintenance Squadron on 1 Jul 1993. Inactivated on 31 Jan 1997. Activated on 5 Aug 1999. Inactivated 13 May 2002. Activated on 1 Nov 2017.
