94TH MAINTENANCE SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Constituted as 94 Maintenance Squadron, Bombardment, Light on 10 May 1949. Activated in the Reserve on 26 Jun 1949. Redesignated as 94 Maintenance Squadron on 10 Mar 1950. Ordered to Active Service on 10 Mar 1951. Inactivated on 20 Mar 1951. Activated in the Reserve on 14 Jun 1952. Redesignated as 94 Field Maintenance Squadron on 8 Nov 1954. Inactivated on 14 Apr 1959. Consolidated (22 Oct 1984) with the 94 Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, which was constituted on 5 Dec 1958 and activated in the Reserve on 14 Apr 1959. Ordered to Active Service on 28 Oct 1962. Relieved from Active Duty on 28 Nov 1962. Discontinued, and inactivated, on 11 Feb 1963. Activated in the Reserve on 1 Jul 1976. Redesignated as 94 Maintenance Squadron on 1 Feb 1992.
