Consolidated (22 Oct 1984) with the 28 Maintenance Squadron, Bombardment, Medium, which was constituted on 28 May 1948. Activated on 12 Jul 1948. Redesignated as: 28 Maintenance Squadron, Bombardment, Heavy on 16 May 1949; 28 Maintenance Squadron on 16 Mar 1950; 28 Field Maintenance Squadron on 16 Jun 1952; 28 Maintenance Squadron on 30 Apr 1992.
