WINNWEILER

District (Kreis) : Donnersbergkreis
Additions : 1969 Hochstein; 1979 Alsenbrück-Langmeil, Potzbach
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Winnweiler

Wappen von Winnweiler

Official blazon

(de)

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on February 19, 1864.

The arms are derived from the 18th century seal of the village, which showed an oak tree. The meaning is probably that the oak is a symbol of justice.
