Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 28, 1995.

The pigeon (Taube) is a canting element. The village developed around an inn named the Wilde Taube (wild pigeon), which still exists, and which is symbolised by the gable in the base of the shield. The three linden leaves symbolise the three villages in the municipality and refer to the linden tree planted in the main square of Wildetaube on the day of the German unification.
