WIEN-KAISER EBERSDORF
State : Wien (Vienna)
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms are taken from those of the Hintperg-Ebersdorf family, who were the lords of the manor at Ebersdorf in the Middle Ages. In 1499, Ebersdorf became property of Emperor Maximilian I and was hence called Kaiser (Emperor) Ebersdorf.
The region is now part of the 11th municipal district, Simmering.
