Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 30, 1972.

The three diamond symbolise three smaller and one larger crystal. The area is well known for its crystals and the design is based on a decoration on the church in the village of Obermauren.

Literature : Köfler and Beimrohr, 1995
