Administrative division

There are 6 provinces in Vanuatu. Each one consists of a single island. None of the provinces or villages does use arms, neither does the capital Port Vila.

The National Emblem of Vanuatu

The country uses a emblem, adopted in 1980. It shows a local chief in front of a volcano. The motto means “We aspire to God”.
