Wappen von Trimmis / Arms of Trimmis

Official blazon

In Silber über grünem Dreispitzberg zwei querrechts liegende, bewurzelte schwarze Steinbockshörner.

Origin/meaning

The base shows three green mountains, as according to legend the name is derived from Trimons, Latin for three-mountains. The upper part shows two ibex horns, which are derived from the arms of the medieval Lords of Trimmis.
