Vihreässä kentässä hopeinen, polvistunut enkeli pitäen molemmilla käsillään kultaista lippua, jossa musta, paaluittainen piilu.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 29, 1953.

The angel already apperead on the Rosenborg county seal in medieval times. The banner with the axe is the symbol of Saint Olaf, the medieval patron saint of the parish.
