Official blazon

In Rot ein goldener Schräglinksbalken, darüber ein goldener Pflug, darunter ein vierspeichiges goldenes Zahnrad.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1924.

The arms show a bend, symbolising a dam (Damm, a canting element). The plough and the wheel symbolise agriculture and industry respectively. The colours are taken from the arms of the Counts of Asperg, who ruled the village for a long time.

The old border stones used only the initials of the village, the later seals only showed the arms of Württemnberg.
