Origin/meaning

The arms were registered on October 7, 2003.

The bimount reprensent the St. John Rock and cross for which the municipality is named while the blue background and gold star represent the patron of the local church, the Virgin Mary. The head of the mitre represents the local abbey while the boar's head is taken from the arms of the lords Zajíci of Házemburk, protectors of the abbey.
