Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 1990.

The letter S is the town;s initial. The crosier refers to the fact that the village historically belonged to the Bishops of Gniezno. Their power is also reflected by the cross (spiritual) and sword (worldly power).

The roses are taken from the arms of the Porajów family and the arrow is taken from the arms of the Strzałka family, founders of the village.
