STARZACH
State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Tübingen
Additions : 1972Bierlingen, Felldorf, Wachendorf; 1973 Sulzau; 1974 Börstingen
Official blazon
(de) In goldenem Schild zwei schräglinke blaue Wellenleisten, begleitet außen von je einer, innen von drei fünfblättrigen roten Rosen.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 6, 1982.
The two blue wavy bends refer to the Starzel and Eyach rivers in the municipality. The 5 roses symbolise the five former municipalities that merged to the Starzach municipality. The roses are taken from the old arms of Bierlingen and Sulzau.
