Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 3, 2002.

These are the old arms of Amt Stahnsdorf.

The previous arms were (probably) granted in ?, and officially continued on July 3, 1993.

The silver bend in red is based on the colours of Brandenburg from 1945-1952. The cross is a symbol for the local church from the 13th century, but mainly refers to the large cemetery in the municipality.
