District (Kreis) : Kitzingen

Wappen von Segnitz/Arms (crest) of Segnitz
Official blazon
German

Unter von Silber und Schwarz geviertem Schildhaupt in Silber ein roter Rosskopf mit schwarzer Mähne und schwarzem Zaum.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 26, 1962.

The chief refers to the Margraves of Brandenburg-Ansbach, to whom the village belonged from the 16th century. The red horse head is taken from another ruling family, the Zobel von Giebelstadt family.
