Selected collector's items from Germany:

SEFFERN

State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Bitburg-Prüm (until 1970 Bitburg)
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Bitburg-Land

Wappen von Seffern

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 3, 1982.

The chief symbolises the large statue of St. John of Nepomuk in the municipality. The statue wears a crown made of stars, which are shown in the chief. The wavy division line symbolises the Nims stream that runs through the village.

The crosier is a symbol for the 1000 years that the area belonged to the Prüm abbey.
