Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on March 13, 2009.

The arms show the local linden tree, which was planted at the end of the 30-years war in 1648. The linden has thus been a typical landmark for the village for more as three centuries. The base shows a woven basket, symbol for the local crafmanship and the importance of basket weaving in the local history.
