  • (fr) Coupé: au 1er d'azur au cheval passant contourné d'argent et sellé de gueules, au 2e parti au I de sinople à la bande d'argent chargée d'une jumelle en cotice d'azur et au II de gueules à la croix de Malte d'argent.

Origin/meaning

The arms show a horse for the horsebreeding in the area. The bend refers to the Adour river (silver) and the two smaller streams that merge with it, the Gaves Réunis and the Bidouze. The cross refers to the local Commandery of the Knights of Saint John.
