Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in October 2013.

The chief shows the arms of Normandy. The crosier represents St. Vaast, the local patron saint. The narrow pale, refers to the Prime meridian of Greenwich, on which the village is situated. The cross is taken from the arms of the former lords of the village, the De Grente family.
