SAINT-LOUIS

Département : Haut-Rhin
Additions : 1953 Bourgfelden

Armoiries de Saint-Louis (Haut-Rhin)

Official blazon

D'azur à trois fleurs de lis d'argent.

Origin/meaning

The arms were designed around 1901-1902. The arms show three fleur-de-lys, symbols of the French Royal family and used as the village was named Saint Louis by King Louis XIV in 1684. The golden fleur-de-lys were changed into silver, to distinguish the arms from the Royal Arms.
