SÜDLOHN

State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis) : Borken (until 1973 Ahaus)
Additions : 1969 Oeding

Wappen von Südlohn/Arms (crest) of Südlohn
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 15, 1971.

The arms combine elements from the arms of the former municipalities. The trefoil was taken from the old Südlohn arms, based on a seal from 1784, shown below. The tower is taken from the arms of Oeding.
