Escudo de prata, aspa diminuta ondada de azul e prata de três peças, encimada por espada alçada de lâmina flamejante sustendo balança de dois pratos, tudo de verde. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: " S. MIGUEL DO RIO TORTO ".

The arms were officially granted on May 27, 2004.
