MITRY MORY
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on January 24, 1966.
The cross in the chief is the symbol of the Order of St. Lazarus and refers to the former leper's colony near the village. The two points form the letter M, the town's initial. The base shows the arms of Cardinal Du Plessis de Richelieu who lived in the Bois-le-Vicomte castle in the municipality.
