The arms are derived from the arms of the Abbey of Étrun, which owned most of the village during many centuries. The abbey already used in the early 13<sup>th</sup> century a seal with a shield with St. Mary. The chief is a new addition, symbolising the Canche river.

Origin/meaning

The arms were proposed in 1994, but I have no idea whether the local council actually adopted the arms.
