The arms were granted at the same time of the town rights in the early 16th century by Emperor Ferdinand I for Wenzel von Wartenberg, the local lord. The arms show St. Wenceslaus (Wenzel, Vaclav) as a knight and Duke of Bohemia. The saint was the patron saint of Lord Wenzel von Wartenberg.

Czech Ve zlatém štítě postava sv. Václava ve stříbrném brnění, s knížecí korunou, svatozáří a červeným hermelínovým pláštěm. V pravé ruce drží dřevec přirozené barvy se stříbrným hrotem a stříbrnou dvoucípou korouhví s černou orlicí se stříbrným perizoniem. Levou rukou se opírá o stříbrný kolčí štít s černou orlicí se stříbrným perizoniem.

The arms were registered on November 30, 2007.
