  • (fr) D'argent à la gabarre au naturel, habillée d'or et flammée de gueules, voguant sur une rivière d'azur mouvant de la pointe, à la lettre capitale L de sable brochant en abîme, sa hampe sur le mât de la gabarre; au chef d'or chargé de trois feuilles de vigne de sinople posées en bande et soutenu du même.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 1990.

The arms symbolise the formerly important shipping on the Loire river, and in chief grape leaves for viticulture.
