Blason de Le Landreau

Official blason

  • (fr) Parti: au 1er d'azur à deux fasces alésées d'or, au chef cousu de gueules chargé de trois étoiles d'argent, au 2e d'argent à l'aigle bicéphale de sable, becquée et membrée d'or.

Origin/meaning

The arms were designed and adopted in 1961.

The arms show the arms of two families who played a major role in the local history. The eagle is derived from the arms of the Bois-Géheneuc family, the other half from the Péronneau family.
