Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on May 8, 1961.

The crown is taken from the arms of the counts of Schärfenberg, the lords of the castle of Hohenwang. The St. Andrew's Cross is an attribute of the holy Apostle Andrew, the patron saint of Langenwang.
