Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1992.

The eagle is taken from the arms of the St Peter chapter in Augsburg, which had many possessions in the area. The points are taken from the arms of the former municipalities Groß- und Kleinkitzighofen and are derived from the arms of the Lords von Rorbach. The escutcheon is a symbol for the village of Dillishausen and is identical to the arms of the State of Augsburg, to which the village historically belonged.
