Écartelé: au 1er d'azur à trois rocs d'échiquier d'or, au 2e d'argent au bœuf passant de gueules, au chef de sable chargé de trois coquilles d'argent, au 3e d'argent à la branche de chèvrefeuille de sinople, fleurie d'or et posée en bande, au 4e d'azur l'épi de blé tigé et feuillé d'or posé en bande, au soleil levant du même.
Origin/meaning
The arms show in the arms of two families that ruled the area; the La Roche Fontenilles (1st quarter) and the Espie family (2nd and 4th quarter). The third quarter shows a honeysuckle branch for the old name of the village, Labastide-de-Caprifeuillet. Honeysuckle is chèvrefeuille in French.
