Département : Haute-Savoie

Blason de La Tour (Haute-Savoie)

Official blason

Parti: au 1er d'or à trois pals de gueules, au chef de gueules chargé d'une croix d'argent, au 2e d'azur à la clef d'argent. |- |English | blazon wanted |}

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on June 18, 1994.

The arms show the pales from the arms of the medieval lords of the region, the Lords of Faucigny. The silver cross is the arms of Savoy. The key refers to the local patron saint, St. Peter.
