В лазоревом поле три золотые рыбы, повёрнутые в левую перевязь, сопровождаемые выходящими из верхнего правого и нижнего левого углов серебряными безднами, раскрывающимися по ходу солнца.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 11, 2001.
The arms show the blue waters and high waves of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Okhotsk on each side of the islands of the district. The islands itself are shown as golden fish. The fish also indicate the importance of fishing for the islands.
