(1924) Van goud met de faa svan lazuur beladen met drie kuipen van de kleur van het veld. Het schild gehouden rechts door eenen man, links door eene vrouw, beiden gekleed van zilver op Romeinsche wijze en eenen boog van goud in de hand houdende.
(1993) In goud een dwarsbalk van lazuur, beladen met drie potten van het veld; schildhouders: rechts een man, links een vrouw, beiden van natuurlijke kleur, op romeinse wijze gekleed van zilver en houdend een boog van goud.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 3, 1924 and again on March 1, 1993.

The arms show the arms of the Kieffelt family, Lords of Kraainem from 1624 until the 18^th century. The seal of the local council, dating from 1696, showed the arms and thus the council applied for these arms in 1923.
