The arms were granted on April 18, 1967.
The lion and the bar in the upper part is derived from the arms of the Lords of Steinkallenfels, who acquired Gross- and Kleinbundenbach in the 17th century. The Agnus Dei is derived from the seal of Käshofen and Bundenbach known since 1746. The arms differ from those of Großbundenbach in colours, but the design is identical.
