Arms of Klatovec

Official blazon

V modro-červeně polceném štítě se stříbrným návrším se svěšeným červeným javorovým listem unciální M převýšené korunou, obojí zlaté, a provázené odvrácenými stříbrnými rohy.

Origin/meaning

The arms were registered on May 26, 2011.

The design of the emblem is based on the character of the local landscape (blue color - in heraldic practice the color of water).

The arms symbolise the hill Javořice (maple leaf and hill at the foot of the gable), the former owners Koňasová z Vydří (silver corners, coat of arms red and silver), the lords from Hradec (capital letter M under the crown) and the counts Podstatští - Liechtenstein (combination of blue, red and silver).
