State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Main-Spessart (until 1973 Marktheidenfeld)

Wappen von Karbach (Unterfranken)/Arms (crest) of Karbach (Unterfranken)
Official blazon
German

In Blau ein silberner Wellenbalken; oben eine goldene Gabelweihe, unten ein mit einem goldenen Kreuzchen besteckter goldener unzialer Großbuchstabe N.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 14, 1973.

The silver bend refers to the Karbach river after which the village is named. The red kite in the upper half is a common bird in the area and also refers to the tradition model plane shows in the village.

The blue and golden colours, as well as the letter N are derived from the Neustadt am Main Abbey, to which the village belonged from 812-1803.
