Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 30, 1992.

The Agnus Deis is taken from the old 19th century seal of the village. Atthe same time ot refers to the importance of sheep for the village of Belicke.
The fleur-de-lis and the tree stars are derived from the Von Werder family, who had several possessions in the area from 1412-1812. They also played a major role in the local histiry.
