Wappen von Käshofen/Arms (crest) of Käshofen
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on August 12, 1982.

The name Käshofen is derived from 'Hof bei den cassani', or 'house near the oaks'. This is symbolized by the oak branch in the upper half of the arms. The lower half shows the historical and characteristic local well. The colours are taken from the arms of the Dukes of Pfalz-Zweibrücken, who ruled the village from 1410-1793.

The historical seal of Käshofen and Bundenbach showed an Agnus Dei, which is taken in the arms of Gross- and Kleinbudenbach, but not in the arms of Käshofen.
