Official blazon
Mustassa kentässä alainen, yläpuoleltaan sakarakoroinen ja alapuoleltaan aaltokoroinen hopeahirsi; sakaroista, joita on näkyvissä kolme, nousee hopea-punainen tulenlieska.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 10, 1957.
The arms symbolise the fact that around the rapids (koski, silver bar) steel industry (blast furnaces) developed.
