Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 9, 1978.

The three fleur-de-lis are taken from the arms of the former Lords von Cramm, who resided in the area. The number also refers to the three municipalities in the former Samtgemeinde Kirchwarmbüchen (Kirchhof, Alt- and Neuwarmbüchen). The four horse-shoes represent the four Isernhagen farmer communities (Bauerschäfte) and were already part of their respective arms. The wavy bend symbolizes the Wietze river.
